Lago Di Iseo
We are back in Italy in our dear campervan Seal 5 from Rimor. After landing in Milano we decided to stay around and discover the less known lake “Lago di Iseo” located 1h from Milan. It’s a great alternative to the popular spots like Lago di Como and Lago Maggiore and absolutely less touristic.
There is lovely camping place with direct access to the lake and to the pool overlooking the lake. Very child-friendly spot with big playground and many activities to do with kids. Our favourite was the afternoon when we rented out a paddleboat with a slide and had a lot of fun on the lake.
A great day
A great day trip is the boat visit to an island in the lake called “Monte Isola” – it’s small lovely island with few villages, restaurants and playgrounds. You can rent bikes there or just hike around. The ferry belongs to the public transport and operates regularly.
Something very special were the many ducks, who were not scared and just came to us to eat some bread. We could feed them straight out of the hand and even cares them.
